Very well made, hand forged Spanish sconces found in old building in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico-bobeches and drip pans are not forged-pieces have never been electrified--painted several times with residue from former colors--no rust-pieces currently, cleaned, waxed and have charming appearance-no condition problems-heavy-18.5 inches tall 12 inches wide-from the wall 6 inches-hammered design-ca 1910 or earlier

Very rare Spanish Colonial carved wood santo of Christ flagellated--losses-recently mounted on tropical hardwood stepped base-can be detached for transport-24 inches high-mounted 27 inches high-back of figure displays deep, vicious, bloody wounds from flagellation-- carved bone implanted to reflect spinal cord-glass or flint eyes-figure was probably attached to a stake--ca 1700--most likely Mexican given the Aztec blood culture-very high quality carving by skilled artist--only one I have ever sold or seen.

Rare carved wood, complete nativity scene by the santero, the eldest Caban- has carved Mary, Joseph, infant Christ and holy ghost in form of white dove-original base has been reinforced with hardwood-santero used wood from orange crates for base, most of which remains-figures from tropical hardwood --traces of original colors--very difficult to find complete and in this condition.
