Very, very rare hallmarked 19th century English silver and porcelain handled fruit set-12 forks and 12 knives-forks 7.25 inches and knives 8.25 inches-all silver is hallmarked on every piece-all pieces have raised pistol gripe and each are hand painted differently with four different birds--quality of porcelain is the highest-- appears to make it Chelsea or Worcester, but no mark--overall condition excellent-two knife handles have old repairs and a fork handle has a crack--all pieces usable--this is an exquisite and complete set--impossible to find outside private collections--from German noble ladies estate brought to US well over 20 years ago--unique to market--stunning and beautiful and useful

Very rare English porcelain hand painted tureen-ca 1820--most likely from Staffordshire area--composed of three pieces-bowl, lid and underplate-no repairs-mint condition--beautiful colors-bucolic subjects in decoration-as well as a fascination with highly colored moths-gold trim highlights-raised designs in porcelain--7 inch diameter plate-tureen with lid 6.5 inches--this porcelain is museum quality--had to be conserved out of sight to survive in it outstanding condition----the moth design is very unusual and plays to a collectors mentality in the early 19th century-probably made by Ralph and Jones Clews-1815-1834
