Eight Hungarian Herend hand-painted porcelain table card holders in the form of dolphins-each painted orange and cobalt blue--fish scales are high lighted gilt gold-2.75 inches long and 2.75 inches high-each one is signed and also has indented marks-all in mint condition-card fits on dolphins back--these pieces are unique-certainly have a bunch of character--the dolphins are formed as if they are swimming and smiling-great color--you can not set a serious table without them-ask Emily Post

Magnificent early Samsom porcelain box-with worked bronze trim-5.25 inches long-2.75 inches high and 3 inches deep-with different painting on the top, sides and front and back-- no repairs-no condition problems--marked with crossed swords with cross bar blue under glaze--Marcolini period Meissen first quarter 19th century--but it is Samson the great French imitator--- very fine highly decorated hand painted porcelain piece--front is serpentine---given its high quality Samson porcelain is collected in its own right--Samson is no longer made--ca 1890
