This is a very fine set of English hallmarked silver topped glass gentlemans vanity accessories--7 pieces plus a fierce looking wood box with brass corners and key hole-no key--box is 12 inches wide-6 inches high and 7 inches deep-all pieces are hallmarked London 1853--there is a card in box with John Wannamaker in Philadelphia from where it might have been sold -all pieces are in excellent condition except the box and also lid appears missing from the slightly dented cylinder piece-all pieces carry decorative engraving and the monogram H---like to think the H stood for Horatio-a suitable name for a gent who would pack this case
