pair of truly spectacular French gold leaf wall brackets-first quarter 2Oth century-resemble falling water or other organic form fantasy-very minor wear-backs were repainted--pieces work well with any decor-each piece, each element individually hand carved-gessoed-red boule and gold leaf-red boule intentionally made to bleed thru-high style-12 inches tall 12 inches wide--shelves are 7.75 at deepest point at top-tops have inset chip caved border at rim.

Rare 19thc collection of three matching Italian mirrors--repousse silver gilt brass over wood mount--ca 1860s-originally designed to hold Catholic mass prayers in Italian church--surface has been varnished--large piece is 25 inches wide and 23.5 inches-two smaller pieces 15.5 inches high and 13 inches wide--you can change look by removing varnish and polish or gild the pieces--polished they would impart a silvered gold gilt appearance--no condition problems-style is Baroque revival--rare collection -very decorative

This is a Russian hat box made from birch bark-has Russian czarist control stamp on inside top--condition is good except leather carrying strap long gone--hotel grand tour labels are authentic-one of its oweners was a lady from Long island as indicated on bottom--piece has loads of character-great decorative value--too bad I do not have the hat-must have been a douzy--longest oval diameter 13.5 inches-9 inches high--
