This is one of those rare Italian ivory and brass inlaid beds made in Milano, Italy in the mid 19th century-side rails are missing, but iron expandable frame easily attached to make any size-headboard is 67 inches high 55 inches wide-5 inches deep--foot board is 38 inches high-55 inches wide-6 inches deep-brass and ivory inlay has mythological and putti motifs-field is in geometric inlay with ivory spools along the top--base wood walnut-no condition problems-no missing inlay--this bed belonged to Angel Questa, a Ybor City, Florida cigar magnate d 1933-was knighted by the King of Spain--if you want a biography on Questa, contact the Newman Cigar Co in Tampa, Florida--now here is an opportunity to sleep in a knights bed.

Handsome walnut Spanish hinged trunk-has great, fancy, hand forged iron locks, straps and rings-36 long 20 inches wide and 23 inches high-made ca 1860s--minor stains-someone put modern casters on they and can be removed at buyer request-light rust to iron--lock seems intact--an additional lock was installed but removed--available for reinstallation--this a charming piece--its all there-useful-found in Puerto Rico where it was used in an art gallery

This beautifully painted and carved wood table is believed to be Swedish--has a rosemalled painted design on the top-under side is also painted with folk design with a painting of an angel in the center-labeled Genesis 32--it is gate leg folding table not a tilt top-very nice turning on the three legs-even under side supports have carved heads--uncertain why all this work went into the under side--maybe long winters in Sweden !!-craftsmanship is first class-table is sturdy- carved scalloped edged top shows wear- top is 28 inches long and 22 inches wide--24.5 inches high-table was probably made in the 1920s and appears to have inspired some of the 60 year later whimsical American designs of Mackenzie-Childs--a useful, charming table-- either standing or away, it cannot be ignored

Small low table with six 18th century blue and white Delft tiles inlaid on top-iron base on table is modern but tiles are not--tiles all by same hand-made at same time-each tile is 5.5 inches square-table is 14 inches high and 10.5 inches by 16 inches--table can be used indoors or out doors--no condition problems--tiles all have figural design and appear to celebrate the sporting life

This is a spectacular armoire-17th century-made in Danzig on the Baltic--depending on your political persuasion, call it Polish or German--town was administered by both nations-both languages spoken-massive piece-73 inches wide and 94 inches high--27 inches deep-two door-two drawers on base--basic wood walnut-some of the heavy carved trim is ebony--iron hardware and lock appear original-no key--overall condition is excellent- only minor nicks-piece comes apart for transportation-beautiful chip scroll carving on the front doors-Salomonic twisted columns-piece has an architectural Renaissance design--if you are restoring a manor house or castle in Poland, you gotta have this piece

Rare German inlaid Black Forest tilt-top table--inlay on top and some carving on pedestal use edelweiss flower as motif--top is 29 inches long and 21 inches wide-height is 29.5 inches-minor wear to varnish- small drying crack at juncture of top and pedestal-does not show when displayed-can be filled if desired-table sturdy and stable as is--screws replaced holding block on to of pedestal--overall condition excellent---wood is all walnut except secondary soft wood part of tilt-top mechanism--center veneer is Circassian walnut

These long couches without arms do not survive,because without arms the back of couch destabilizes and falls off and the couch is usually junked.In this case someone reinforced the back with steel plates and the couch remained sturdy-this 62 inch wide couch was designed to accommodate women wearing wide hoop skirts-it is 34 inches deep and 48 inches high-has cabriole legs-serpentine front and deeply carved back-main wood is walnut with secondary soft woods-peg construction-upholstery needs replacement otherwise couch is stable and in excellent condition-these couches are rare-ideal for foyer or anywhere ladies walk around in hoop skirts-great hotel piece or guest house-can accommodate two ladies in hoop skirts or four without

Strong imposing handmade wrought iron console--uncertain of origin --maybe Italian or Spanish or even antique Egyptian--Thick marble top with doves breast carving on the edge-92 inches long--44 inches high and 26 inches deep--it is indestructible--the iron could take on a head on crash from a locomotive and destroy the locomotive--iron is very heavy gauge--had a iron maker craftsman tell me it would take two men over three months to make it apart from design consideration--has a basket filled with loose iron fruit you can use for shot put practice--condition is just fine--paint it-gild it 0r faux bronze it---or just let it as i--there are four stylized griffin heads just in case you think there is not enough going on--there is a center table on my website that matches--can be used indoors or in the garden
