pre Columbian black pottery or terracotta pot- dealer card inside indicates origin--from Quito, Ecuador-says piece 500 yrs old-from the Carchi culture and was bought 9/80-card is signed and has logo of shop-piece incised with decorative motifs-there is hole in bottom that may be intentional if pieces was used in burial-7 inch diameter-3 inches high-wear to bottom-material has flint or some other shinning stone in pottery mix-piece smell and appears right-rare
