To compete with the popular Japanese Imari porcelain in the 19thc, Chinese tried to develop a porcelain with the Imari colors-these are two examples-they have Chinese form, designs. and color--never quite produced the Imari color--this production was limited and the pieces are rare and unique-these have elaborate brass wall hangers-condition is excellent-very minor nick on the edge of one-dynamite decorative impact--19thc
