Actual origin of this exciting oriental bronze piece is uncertain- Asian for certain-Indonesian or Thailand ?--it was used as a large ceremonial hot water kettle--has figures of Buddha-horses-lizards-deer-cattle and a frog-- appears to have a Chinese archaic form-piece is heavy and was used-it is complete-no condition problems-looks to be well over 200 years--rare-20 inches high-17 inches in diameter--fine piece of sculpture forget about the hot water
