Fine pair of ca 1900 English military parade paintings in front of Buckingham Palace--Coldstream Guards on black horses-foot soldiers in bearskin busbies-artist signed on both paintings- E Riley--no condition problems--artist used a lot of paint-heavy impasto that imparts almost another dimension on paintings--oil paint on artist board-21.5 inches by 16.5 inches-add 1.75 inches for frames-would replace frames with something more dramatic--interesting pieces that may be late 19thc--probably commissioned paintings

These two busts are Louis XIVth and his lady- most likely modeled on period stone pieces- cast in a combination of ground stone and resin--they are heavy and will not blow away in the the wind--made after WWII and imported into the US from France in the 1950s-casting is high quality--seldom found painted-painting shows minor wear from being exposed in garden outdoors-no condition problem--can be used inside if you have space--large-50 inches high-25 inches wide and 16 inches deep--pieces really make a statement-fine details
