A pair of French Franco Prussian War military scenes--Ca 1870s Oil on canvas, signed in the lower right corner, A. Bulguet each 8" x 10" canvas size, each framed in a frilly frame with gilt and white wash overall measuring 11-1/2" x 13-1/2". The uniforms are French infantry, ca. 1850-1880.
Condition: yellowed varnish-needs cleaning--back of canvas painted with silver paint-frames appear inappropriate-no restorations-all is original

Oil on canvas, signed in the lower right and inscribed with the location below, the canvas size approx. 19-1/4" x 25-5/8", and with the wide ornate frame overall approx. 29-1/4" x 35-1/4". An interesting proximity of older sailing vessels and a steam-powered sidewheeler. --restorations professionally done--original canvas and stretchers--frame appears original, but has been refreshed

French oil on panel signed on front of painting unclearly--on the back written in pencil in French--le canal de Bourgogne--painting is 13 inches x 9.50-needs cleaning otherwise in good condition--framed-- painting came from a collection assembled in Cuba long before Castro and brought to Puerto Rico--this painting may well be a canal in Burgundy----this well painted and high quality--and does appear to be a canal---painting is executed by a trained artist and does not smack of amaturism---juat cannot figure out who artist is--priced to sell-no condition problems with nice frame

Lovely French impressionist oil on canvas signed with initials EH or TH-dated 1930--depicts a view from a hill apparently on the edge of Paris--you see Notre Dame and the Invalides on the horizion---this is some hill and I cannot figure out where it is--if you are you a Corps commander, you need it to take Paris---Look for the TV towers and communication relays today and you will find my 1930 hill in Paris
