This lovely oil painting is a copy of Raphael's Virgin of the Rose-it depicts the Madonna, Christ ,Joseph a infant St John the Baptist-though an Italian subject, --it was painted in Madrid ,Spain in about the early 20s and brought it to Puerto Rico--I had the piece cleaned professionally recently--large 28 inches by 41 inches-add 2.75 inches for frame that is probably original--data on the origins on the back in Spanish-no condition problems
