This is a irrepressibly rude walking stick--certainly carried by someone who held his fellow man in contempt--it is designed to give the finger when griped--37 inches long-carved wood-late 19thc --most likely European--maybe Italian or French--has worm holes and metal cap on the end of the stick is missing--that it survived without being broken over the bearers head is no small miracle--I carry in the presence of politicians and journalists--you may have someone else i.e. ex wife or husband--folkloristic--the carver understood the human condition --bless his soul--cane is carved walnut
