| Six rustic chairs and a footstool with rush seats made in the 1950s in the West Indies, were imported into Puerto Rico and painted by Alan McCurdy-an American artist who was very popular in Puerto Rico-after his death the value of his paintings soared locally--chairs are beautifully hand painted some with ribald designs--got to remember that McCurdy was a very ribald guy--37.5 inches high by 17 inches wide by 16 inches deep-stool is 20 inches long by 15 inches wide and 11.25 inches high--absolutely charming pieces--except for missing paint on seats, no condition problems | |||||||||||||
